to The Community of Caring Website. We are an international organization with headquarters in Erie, Pennsylvania. For twenty years it has provided food, clothing and shelter for those in need in Erie County and throughout the world.

     Thousands of beneficiaries have been helped through its services. Volunteers have aided greatly in the provision of services to our recipients. Over one hundred fifty thousand volunteer hours have been donated.

Our mission is to meet basic human needs in a loving and compassionate way.  We are committed to providing services as an expression of God’s love, respecting the dignity of each individual. 

Since 1980 the Community of Caring has helped thousands of people across the United States and all around the world. 

You can be a member of our caring community.  Just make a commitment to do an act of kindness every day.  We also welcome your donations of goods, time, or money.  Of course, all gifts are tax deductible.
